Do I need a Stripe account to launch a store?
No. GenMB uses its platform Stripe Connect by default, so you can take your first payments without setting up Stripe yourself. When you cross $500 in lifetime sales, you connect your own Stripe in one click to keep selling.
How does shipping work?
Every store ships with a built-in fixed-rate shipping table by region (US, CA, GB, others). When you connect an EasyPost or Shippo key, the SDK upgrades to live rates with no code changes.
Is tax handled?
GenMB calls Stripe Tax for sales-tax-on at checkout when enabled. Stripe handles registration and remittance reporting; you only pay where you have nexus.
Can I sell digital products?
Yes. Pick the "Digital Downloads" template and your buyer gets a signed download URL emailed to them after Stripe Checkout completes.
