# Build a Complete Free AI Website Builder Platform

Create a modern, professional, fully responsive web application called **FreeWeb AI**.

## Main Goal
Build an online platform similar to Google AI Studio, Lovable, and Bolt.new where users can create websites and web applications using natural-language prompts directly in their browser.

The platform should prioritize free usage, minimal restrictions, easy publishing, and a beginner-friendly experience.

## 1. Modern User Interface
- Design a beautiful, professional dashboard with a clean dark/light mode.
- Add a large prompt input where users describe the website they want.
- Include a “Generate Website” button.
- Display a live website preview beside the code editor.
- Add responsive mobile, tablet, and desktop preview modes.
- Include a project dashboard with saved websites and recent projects.

## 2. AI Website Generation
- Let users describe a website in plain English.
- Generate complete HTML, CSS, and JavaScript websites.
- Support React and TypeScript projects where possible.
- Generate landing pages, portfolios, blogs, business websites, online stores, dashboards, and AI tools.
- Allow users to improve an existing website with follow-up prompts.
- Add features to fix errors, redesign layouts, change colors, improve SEO, and make websites mobile-friendly.
- Preserve existing working features when editing a project.

## 3. Live Code Editor
- Provide a code editor with syntax highlighting.
- Organize project files in a sidebar.
- Allow users to edit HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and supported framework files.
- Display changes in a live preview.
- Add undo, redo, save, and download project features.
- Allow downloading the complete project as a ZIP file.

## 4. Free Website Publishing
- Integrate free hosting providers where technically possible.
- Allow users to connect their own GitHub repositories.
- Support deployment to Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, or other suitable hosting providers.
- Display the deployment URL and publishing status.
- Add a custom-domain setup guide.
- Never pretend that a website has been published unless deployment has actually succeeded.
- Clearly explain any hosting-provider limits.

## 5. Free Usage and AI Providers
- Support configurable AI providers through secure server-side integrations.
- Where possible, support free AI APIs or user-provided API keys.
- Never expose API keys in browser code.
- Add a settings page for connecting and testing AI providers.
- Do not invent unlimited AI access or bypass provider quotas.
- Allow users to use their own supported AI provider when free platform credits run out.

## 6. Project Management
- Let users create, rename, duplicate, export, and delete projects.
- Save project files and settings.
- Add project search and recent-project history.
- Support account login and cloud project storage if configured.
- Use a suitable database and authentication service only when needed.

## 7. Security
- Keep API keys and secrets on the server.
- Validate all user inputs.
- Protect authenticated APIs and project data.
- Apply rate limits to prevent abuse.
- Sanitize generated HTML and safely isolate website previews.
- Prevent unauthorized access to other users’ projects.
- Never claim complete security or guarantee that hacking is impossible.

## 8. SEO and Performance
- Generate page titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, Open Graph metadata, and sitemap files.
- Use semantic HTML and accessible design.
- Optimize images and page loading.
- Provide an SEO checklist before publishing.

## 9. Technical Requirements
- Use a maintainable modern frontend framework.
- Build reusable components.
- Use real working buttons and forms.
- Add loading states, error messages, and success notifications.
- Include environment-variable configuration and a README with setup instructions.
- Ensure the application builds successfully before deployment.
- Do not use fake functionality or hardcoded success messages.
- Do not leave placeholder buttons that do nothing.

## 10. Final Deliverables
Build the actual working application, not just a mockup or landing page.

First create the complete interface and a working HTML/CSS/JavaScript website generator. Then implement AI integrations, code editing, project saving, previews, and deployment integrations in stages.

Prioritize features that work without a paid subscription. Clearly distinguish free features from features that require external accounts, API keys, usage credits, or paid services.

At the end, provide clear instructions to run, test, and publish the platform online.
