Build Shade Edit — AI Minecraft Skin Editor

Create a fully functional AI website called Shade Edit, an AI-powered Minecraft skin generator and editor. Make it work on Android phones, tablets, and computers. It must be a real working application, not just a design or fake demo.

1. AI Skin Generator

- Let users upload a picture/image of any character, person, drawing, or custom design.
- Let users describe their desired skin using a text prompt, upload an image, or do both together.
- Use smart AI to transform the image into a clean, accurate 2D Minecraft player skin that resembles the original picture as closely as possible.
- Preserve the original character's hairstyle, colors, clothing, face, accessories, and unique details as much as possible.
- Automatically convert the design into Minecraft's pixel-art skin format, with correct body parts, proportions, UV mapping, and pixel placement.
- Generate a high-quality, sharp, non-blurry skin with clean pixels and no random artifacts.
- Support classic Steve (wide arms) and slim Alex (narrow arms) models.
- Support 64×64 Minecraft skin PNG files and Minecraft-compatible outer layers.

2. Multiple Skin Layers

Generate realistic Minecraft skins using 2–3 visual layers where appropriate:

- Base layer: head, body, arms, and legs.
- Second layer: hoodies, hair, sleeves, shoes, and clothing details.
- Third visual detail layer: extra accessories, armor-like decorations, or raised-looking details using the outer skin layer.

Make the layers align correctly with Minecraft's skin format. Do not create an ordinary flat illustration or a 3D picture instead of an importable skin file.

3. 2D and 3D Preview

After the AI finishes generating a skin, display both:

- 2D Preview: the complete, correctly mapped 64×64 skin texture.
- 3D Preview: a rotatable Minecraft character model showing the front, back, sides, head, arms, and legs, including outer layers.

Allow users to rotate and zoom the 3D model and switch between Steve and Alex models. Update both previews whenever the skin is edited.

4. Skin Editor

Provide tools to edit the generated skin:

- Change colors, clothing, hairstyle, eyes, and accessories.
- Add or remove outer-layer details.
- Use AI follow-up prompts such as “make the hoodie black and purple” or “add glowing violet eyes.”
- Regenerate the skin or edit specific details without unnecessarily changing the entire character.
- Keep the skin sharp and pixel-perfect when zooming in.

5. Download and Import

- Download the finished skin as a genuine Minecraft-compatible 64×64 PNG.
- Include a clearly visible Download Skin button.
- Include instructions for importing the skin into Minecraft Bedrock on Android and other supported devices.
- Let users select Classic or Slim before downloading.
- Validate the PNG dimensions and skin format before offering the download.
- Never provide a preview image as the downloadable skin unless it is a correctly formatted Minecraft texture.

6. Chat and Skin History

Create an AI chat panel where users can describe, generate, and edit skins through conversation.

Save the history of:

- User prompts and uploaded reference images.
- AI responses and generated skins.
- Previous skin versions and edits.
- Date and time of each generation.

Let users reopen a previous conversation, view its 2D and 3D skin previews, continue editing, download previous versions, rename conversations, and delete individual history items. Keep each conversation separate and preserve its generated skin files.

7. User Accounts and Saving

- Allow users to sign up, log in, and log out.
- Save skin projects and conversation history to the user's account.
- Provide a history sidebar, a New Skin button, and a projects gallery.
- If guest mode is available, clearly explain that guest projects may not be permanently saved.
- Keep each user's private projects separate and secure.

8. Website Design

Use a premium futuristic black and purple Shade Edit theme, with violet glowing accents, smooth animations, rounded panels, and a clean professional interface.

Desktop layout: sidebar for history, central AI chat and prompt area, and a 2D/3D preview panel.

Mobile layout: responsive stacked panels, easy image uploads, touch-friendly controls, and a full-screen 3D preview option.

Display the name Shade Edit, a custom purple Shade logo, and the tagline: “Your Picture. Your Skin. Your Minecraft.”

9. Real AI and Technical Requirements

- Connect a real image-to-image AI service capable of generating pixel-art Minecraft skin textures.
- Use a real backend for image processing, project saving, authentication, and skin history.
- Use a compatible 3D Minecraft skin renderer for previews.
- Use secure server-side API keys and never expose secrets in frontend code.
- Show generation progress, useful errors, retry options, and clear upload limits.
- Do not fake AI responses, skin generation, saving, or download functionality.
- If an AI service or backend is not configured, clearly identify what is missing instead of pretending the feature works.
- Use free tools and free tiers wherever possible, and clearly disclose any API limits or paid requirements.

Final goal: Build a working AI Minecraft skin editor where a user uploads a picture, enters an optional prompt, receives a clean Minecraft-compatible 2D skin, views the finished character in 3D, edits it through AI chat, reviews generation history, and downloads the actual PNG skin to import into Minecraft Bedrock.
