## 15. MVP PRIORITIZATION PLAN

Build in incremental, testable phases. Prioritize a working, secure core before advanced features. Do not attempt everything simultaneously.

- **P0 — Foundation:** Inspect repository, configure environment, modular architecture, logging, settings, secure credentials, PySide6 UI, and clean shutdown.
- **P1 — Core Assistant:** Working text chat, OpenAI integration, streaming, error handling, conversation history, and accurate status indicators.
- **P2 — Windows Actions:** Safe application/file/folder launching, website navigation, calculator, validated tool arguments, permissions, confirmations, cancellation, and result verification.
- **P3 — Voice:** Microphone, STT/TTS, Hindi/Hinglish/English support, push-to-talk, interruption, and "Hey Tony" wake word with diagnostics and fallback.
- **P4 — Intelligence:** Contextual follow-ups, task planning, approved web search, source citations, and SQLite memory controls.
- **P5 — Advanced Features:** Playwright browser workflows, permission-based screen vision, advanced computer control, system tray, animations, and optional startup.
- **P6 — Release:** Comprehensive tests, security checks, defect fixes, dependency pinning, PyInstaller packaging, installation documentation, and final acceptance verification.

**Priority rules:**
1. Deliver a runnable application early; never stop at mockups or plans.
2. Complete and test each phase before expanding scope.
3. Keep essential text chat and safe local actions usable without optional voice hardware or web-search credentials.
4. Mark unavailable features as blocked, not completed; never fake results.
5. Defer advanced features when necessary, but retain them in the roadmap.
6. Track each feature as `Not Started`, `In Progress`, `Blocked`, or `Verified`.
7. At each milestone, report completed work, actual test results, remaining risks, dependencies, and the next priority.

**MVP exit criteria:** The application launches on Windows, provides working AI text chat, opens approved apps/files/folders and websites, supports safe action execution and cancellation, reports errors honestly, and shuts down cleanly. Add voice and wake-word support as the next release gate; retain all remaining requirements for subsequent phases.

## 16. DELIVERABLES AND ACCEPTANCE
