Yes. If you want **any city/location in the world** to be searchable, don't restrict the app to only Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Since you currently want **no backend map access**, you can still make the **location search work in Demo Mode** by using a geocoding/weather API later, while providing fallback demo data now.

### 🌍 One important point

There is a difference between **“search any location”** and **“show real weather for any location.”**

Without a weather API, your app **cannot reliably retrieve real-time weather for every location**. Your prototype can support the *interface* for worldwide search, while Demo Mode provides simulated data.

Later, you can connect:

**Location search → Geocoding API → latitude/longitude → Weather API → WeatherGPT**

That will allow a user to search practically **any supported location worldwide** and receive actual weather information.
