AUTHENTICATION LOGIC (CRITICAL — MUST WORK CORRECTLY):
- Use a proper backend auth system (email/password + Google OAuth) with a real database (e.g. built-in database/auth service).
- Signup must create a real account; Login must authenticate against that same account using the same identifier (email) consistently — no mismatch between signup and login logic.
- "Login with Google" and "Sign up with Google" must both properly trigger OAuth (no 404s), complete the session via a working callback route, and use a dynamic redirect URL (based on current app URL, not hardcoded).
- On successful login (via password OR Google), automatically redirect the user to the Home/Dashboard page — no dead links, no 404s.
- If login fails (wrong password, etc.), show a clear inline error message on the form instead of a blank failure or crash.

DESIGN:
- Smooth client-side toggle between Login/Signup, form validation (required fields, valid email format, password strength, confirm-password match).
- Minimal, official, secure aesthetic — shield/badge iconography, navy/gold/white color scheme, no playful colors.
- Fully responsive (mobile and desktop).

LEFT SIDEBAR (single source of navigation — nothing duplicated in the header):

- Each record is clickable (leads to a detail view placeholder).

ADD NEW CASE FEATURE:
- A floating "+" button (bottom-right corner, circular, primary color), always visible on the Database/Case Management page.
- Clicking it opens a modal/slide-in form titled "Add New Case" with fields: FIR ID/Number, Name, Case Duration (date range or duration field), Punishment Type (dropdown: Imprisonment, Fine, Both, Under Trial, Acquitted, Other), Crime Type (dropdown: Theft, Assault, Fraud, Cybercrime, Homicide, Drug-related, Trafficking, Other), optional Profile Picture upload, District/Location (auto-filled from officer's profile, editable).
- "Save" and "Cancel" buttons; required-field validation on FIR ID and Name; on save, the new case immediately appears in the Database list.

DESIGN:
- Same professional government theme (navy/gold/white, shield iconography) as the login page.
- Fully responsive; sidebar collapses to icon-only on smaller screens; "+" button and modal become full-screen on mobile.
