App creation prompt
Create a polished personal planning app for a student that brings together my studies, opportunities, commitments, and goals in one place. The app should help me stay organized, meet deadlines, discover relevant opportunities, and make realistic plans around my available time.
Personal profile and context
Let me create and update a profile with:
- My location and preferred travel radius, so the app can find nearby opportunities.
- My current course of study, subjects, academic level, and study goals.
- My capabilities, skills, experience, interests, and areas I want to improve.
- My availability, preferred working hours, commute limits, and other scheduling preferences.
- My priorities and longer-term goals.
Use this information to personalize plans and recommendations. Let me review, correct, and update what the app knows about me.
Planning and calendar
Provide a clear calendar and planning space for:
- Courses, lectures, classes, assignments, exams, and study sessions.
- Hackathons, including registration and submission deadlines, preparation tasks, and event times.
- Programs I join or want to apply to, with application steps and deadlines.
- Communities I have joined, including events, meetings, and commitments.
- Part-time jobs, including shifts, work locations, and timings.
- Personal tasks, appointments, and other commitments.
Show deadlines and upcoming events in one view. Help me break large goals—such as preparing for a hackathon, completing an assignment, or applying to a program—into manageable tasks. Warn me about clashes, overloaded days, and deadlines that may be at risk. Suggest a realistic weekly plan that accounts for classes, work shifts, travel time, rest, and study time.
Web-powered opportunity discovery
Give the app web access to search for current opportunities, especially:
- Hackathons near my location or available online.
- Part-time jobs that fit my skills, interests, schedule, and commute preferences.
- Student programs, internships, scholarships, workshops, courses, and community events that may suit me.
Personalize recommendations using my profile and existing calendar. For each recommendation, show why it may fit, its location or online format, eligibility, required skills, time commitment, key dates, and a direct link to the original source. Clearly distinguish verified details from information that is missing or uncertain. Check that opportunities and deadlines are current, and don’t present expired listings as active.
Let me save opportunities, dismiss irrelevant ones, and add selected events or deadlines to my calendar. Ask before applying, registering, contacting anyone, or sharing my personal information.
Helpful student features
Also include:
- A dashboard for today, this week, upcoming deadlines, and schedule conflicts.
- A task list with priorities, reminders, recurring tasks, and progress tracking.
- Study planning that helps me allocate time across subjects and prepare for exams.
- A workload overview so I can balance study, jobs, activities, and rest.
- Flexible notifications that I can control.
- Simple ways to add or edit information manually, with optional calendar import if available.
- Privacy controls so I can see, edit, and delete my personal data.
Design and behavior
Make the app easy to use on mobile and desktop, accessible, and visually clear. Use plain language, concise recommendations, and a clean calendar-first layout. The AI should act as a practical planning assistant: be supportive, specific, and realistic; explain its recommendations; and let me stay in control of my schedule and choices.
