Build a new, professional social networking platform named Gik, with the slogan “Your World. Your Gik.”

The goal is to create an original social network with a broad feature set comparable to major social platforms, including Facebook, while maintaining Gik's own brand identity and design. Do not copy Facebook's logo, assets, or exact interface.

Design

- Premium, modern, responsive design for Android phones and desktop browsers.
- Original logo placement, consistent colors, polished typography, accessible controls, dark mode, and smooth navigation.
- Mobile bottom navigation and desktop sidebar.
- Create a real application, not merely a landing page or static mockup.

Core foundation

- Secure user registration and login.
- User profiles, profile photos, bios, friends and followers.
- Feed with text, photo, and video posts.
- Reactions, comments, sharing, saving, and reporting.
- Search, Explore, notifications, and responsive navigation.
- Database-backed posts and profiles, with secure permissions.

Planned modules
Design an architecture that can later support Stories, short videos, groups, pages, events, marketplace listings, private and group messaging, voice/video calls, creator subscriptions, virtual gifts, advertising, creator earnings, wallets, and withdrawal requests.

Administration and safety
Include plans for user management, reporting and moderation, privacy settings, blocking, fraud prevention, and role-based admin access.

Technical requirements
Use maintainable code and free services where practical. Identify the proposed database, authentication, file storage, hosting, and deployment options. Never expose secret keys in frontend code. Never simulate real payments or claim unfinished features are working.

Important workflow
First inspect this specification and produce an implementation plan. Identify which features belong in the first working release and which require later phases or external services. Do not claim all features are complete after generating the first version. Ask before using paid services.
