Build Shade Edit — AI Minecraft Skin Editor

Create Shade Edit, a fully functional AI Minecraft skin generator and editor for Android, tablets, and computers. It must be a real working application, not a fake demo.

1. AI Skin Generator

Let users upload pictures, enter prompts, or use both. Transform references into accurate Minecraft pixel-art skins, preserving hairstyles, faces, clothing, colors, and accessories. Fix broken AI generation, incorrect body parts, misplaced pixels, blurry textures, and unfinished designs. Use real AI and image processing, not fake responses or ordinary illustrations.

2. Correct 64×64 Minecraft Skin

Every downloadable skin MUST be a genuine 64×64 PNG with correct Minecraft UV mapping and body-part placement. Use sharp, clean pixels without blur, distortion, or random artifacts. Support Classic/Steve (wide arms) and Slim/Alex (narrow arms). Validate dimensions, texture layout, transparency, and compatibility before downloading. Never stretch an ordinary image and call it a skin.

3. Cool Designs With 2–3 Layers

Create detailed, stylish skins with:

- Base layer: head, face, body, arms, legs, and shoes.
- Outer layer: hair, hoodies, sleeves, jackets, and accessories.
- Extra details: armor-style decorations, patterns, straps, and visual effects.

Use Minecraft's actual outer-layer UV regions and transparency. Make skins look premium, colorful, detailed, and unique, with polished shading and highlights. Support black-and-purple hoodies, violet glowing eyes, futuristic armor, anime-inspired outfits, and custom gamer designs. Avoid plain, boring, or unfinished skins.

4. Unlimited Skin Creation

Allow users to generate and save as many skins and projects as the application can support, without artificial daily limits. Support regeneration, variations, and multiple versions without overwriting previous skins. Disclose actual AI provider, hosting, and storage limits. Never pretend free AI usage or computing resources are unlimited.

5. Image Upload and Prompts

Support JPG, JPEG, PNG, and other supported formats. Allow image-only, prompt-only, or combined generation. Preview uploaded images and let users create variations while preserving recognizable character details.

6. Real 2D and 3D Previews

Display the actual 64×64 UV texture in a sharp, zoomable 2D preview. Render that same texture on a real Minecraft-compatible 3D model. Support rotation, zoom, front/back/sides, outer layers, touch gestures, and Steve/Alex switching. Update both previews after every edit.

7. Working Skin Editor

Include pixel editing, color changes, hair/clothing/accessory editing, outer-layer controls, undo, redo, reset, and save. Support AI instructions like “make the hoodie black and purple” or “add glowing violet eyes.” Preserve unchanged features during targeted edits.

8. Download and Import

Add a working Download 64×64 Skin PNG button. Download the actual validated texture, never a screenshot or 3D render. Support Classic/Slim selection and provide Minecraft Bedrock import instructions for Android and supported devices. Show errors and retry options when downloads fail.

9. AI Chat and History

Provide a real AI chat for creating and editing skins. Save prompts, reference images where supported, responses, textures, timestamps, and previous versions. Include New Skin, searchable history, rename/delete, project gallery, reopening, continued editing, and previous-version downloads. Use persistent storage instead of pretending temporary browser data is permanent.

10. Accounts and Security

Implement real signup, login, logout, and private project storage. Supabase free tier may be used if compatible. Protect user data and keep AI API keys on the server, never in frontend code.

11. Design

Use a premium futuristic black-and-purple theme, violet glow, smooth animations, rounded panels, and a custom Shade logo.

Tagline: “Your Picture. Your Skin. Your Minecraft.”

Desktop: history sidebar, AI chat, and 2D/3D preview workspace. Mobile: responsive panels, touch-friendly controls, easy uploads, progress indicators, and full-screen previews. Every button, tab, menu, and tool must work.

12. Real AI and Testing

Connect an actual image-generation or image-processing service. Use proper UV mapping, texture assembly, PNG validation, real backend processing, and a compatible 3D renderer. Test image and prompt generation, multiple skins, layered textures, 64×64 dimensions, Steve/Alex models, previews, editing, downloads, Minecraft compatibility, saving, history, security, and mobile responsiveness.

Fix discovered bugs instead of merely reporting them. Use free tools and tiers where possible. Clearly disclose missing API keys, backend configuration, unavailable services, and usage limits. Never fake functionality or claim untested features work.

FINAL GOAL: Build a real Shade Edit application that transforms pictures or prompts into super-cool, detailed, layered, correctly mapped 64×64 Minecraft skins, with working AI, synchronized 2D/3D previews, editing, project history, and genuine downloadable PNG files compatible with Minecraft Bedrock.
