# Comprehensive Inventory, Procurement, Import & Sales Management System (Production-Ready)

## 1. Project Overview & Objective
Build a complete, enterprise-grade, production-ready inventory and commercial management web application tailored for wholesale and retail trading of food products, plastics, and beverages. The system must automate stock levels, handle multi-unit conversions, track batch production/expiry dates, manage multi-currency local and import purchases, process cash/credit sales (POS and wholesale invoicing), manage customer/supplier balances, and generate robust financial and operational reports. The application must feature a full Arabic RTL interface with responsive mobile and desktop support.

## 2. Core Users & Roles
- **Admin (مدير النظام):** Full access to all modules, financial reports, user management, system audit logs, backup/restore, settings, and permissions.
- **Warehouse Keeper (أمين المخزن):** Manages stock intake, local purchases, import shipments, barcode scanning, stock adjustments, batch/expiry tracking, and inventory counts.
- **Cashier / Sales Rep (الكاشير / موظف المبيعات):** Handles POS transactions, issues customer sales invoices (cash/credit), manages customer accounts, and records returns.

## 3. Core Modules & Features

### A. Inventory & Product Management (إدارة المخازن)
- Product catalog supporting food, plastics, and beverages with categories, SKU, and barcode scanning support (using device camera or external scanners).
- **Multi-Unit Support:** Define multiple units per item (e.g., Carton, Pack, Piece) with conversion factors (e.g., 1 Carton = 24 Packs, 1 Pack = 10 Pieces) and automatic stock recalculation.
- **Batch & Expiry Management:** Track production dates, expiry dates, and batch numbers for food and beverage items. Implement **FEFO (First Expired, First Out)** logic and automated expiry alerts.
- **Stock Control:** Real-time quantity updates upon purchasing, importing, selling, and returning items. Prevent sales when stock is insufficient. Low-stock threshold alerts.

### B. Purchases & Import Management (المشتريات والاستيراد)
- **Local Purchases:** Manual invoice entry with supplier tracking, purchase prices, discounts, and taxes.
- **Import Shipments:** Manage international shipments including freight, customs, transportation, and multi-currency handling to compute accurate landed cost (Weighted Average Cost method).
- **Importing Data:** Bulk import of products, items, and opening balances via Excel / CSV files.
- **Barcode Printing:** Generate and print barcodes for items.

### C. Sales, POS & Invoicing (المبيعات ونقطة البيع)
- **POS Interface:** Fast checkout screen for retail customers with cash and credit payment methods, barcode scanning, and receipt printing.
- **Wholesale Invoicing:** Formal sales invoices for merchants and companies (Cash / Credit / Partial payments).
- **Flexible Pricing:** Assign custom prices or price tiers based on customer type (Wholesale, Retail, VIP).
- **Returns Management:** Handle customer sales returns and supplier purchase returns with automatic stock adjustment and financial crediting.

### D. Financials & Accounts (الحسابات والمالية)
- **Suppliers & Customers Management:** Track account statements, debts, balances, and partial/full payments.
- **Expenses & Deductions:** Record operational expenses, discounts, and optional taxes.
- **Profitability Calculation:** Real-time calculation of net profits after deducting Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and operational expenses.

### E. Dashboards & Reports (لوحة التحكم والتقارير)
- **Main Dashboard:** KPI cards showing daily/monthly sales, profits, expenses, debts, low stock alerts, and expiring items.
- **Reports:** Comprehensive daily, monthly, and custom-range reports for sales, purchases, inventory valuation, profit & loss, and financial statements. Export reports to PDF and Excel.

### F. Security, Audit & System Settings (الأمان والصلاحيات والإعدادات)
- **Role-Based Access Control (RBAC):** Strict permission boundaries between Admin, Warehouse Keeper, and Cashier.
- **Audit Logs:** Detailed transaction history and user modification logs.
- **Data Protection & Backup:** Secure database transactions preventing duplicate deductions during network drops, alongside manual/automated database backup and restore tools.
- **UI/UX:** Clean, modern, high-performance Arabic RTL interface with dark/light mode toggle, loading skeletons, empty states, and robust form validation.

## 4. Technical Architecture & Database Requirements
- Relational database schema with robust foreign key constraints linking Products, Batches, Units, Warehouses, Suppliers, Customers, Purchase Invoices, Sales Invoices, POS Transactions, and Payments.
- ACID-compliant transaction handling for stock deduction and financial posting to prevent race conditions or duplicate ledger updates.
- RESTful API endpoints / modular component architecture ready for high performance and scalability.

## 5. Execution Directive for Whacka AI
- Preserve previous work.
- Do not overwrite existing modules.
- Extend the current application only.
- Keep all existing functionality.
- Maintain clean architecture.
- Maintain consistent UI and UX.
- Generate production-ready output.
