Build DesignVerse AI — An All-in-One AI Graphic Design Platform

Create a complete, modern, interactive graphic design web application called DesignVerse AI. The goal is to create an innovative design platform that competes with Canva by offering a powerful editor, AI creativity tools, templates, branding tools, and a place to explore creative ideas.

IMPORTANT: Do not just create a landing page, static mockup, tutorial, or code explanation. Build the actual working application with functional navigation, interactive controls, a working design canvas, and a live preview. Implement features rather than merely displaying buttons for them.

1. BRAND IDENTITY AND VISUAL DESIGN

Create an original, premium design identity for DesignVerse AI.

- Modern, creative, professional, and futuristic.
- Use deep charcoal, soft white, electric purple, and blue accents.
- Use clean typography, smooth transitions, subtle shadows, rounded corners, and excellent spacing.
- Include light and dark modes.
- Make the interface easy for beginners while providing advanced tools for experienced designers.
- Do not copy Canva's exact interface, branding, logo, or proprietary assets.
- Use original sample designs and properly licensed or generated assets.

2. HOME DASHBOARD

Create a beautiful home dashboard with:

- DesignVerse AI logo and navigation.
- A prominent search bar: “What do you want to create today?”
- A large “Create a Design” button.
- Recent projects and saved designs.
- Recommended templates.
- Trending design styles.
- Recently used colors, fonts, and brand kits.
- Quick-access categories.
- A creative inspiration feed.
- A responsive sidebar on desktop and mobile-friendly navigation on phones.

3. FULLY FUNCTIONAL DESIGN EDITOR

Build a real interactive canvas editor, not a picture of an editor.

Users must be able to:

- Create a blank canvas with custom width and height.
- Select preset sizes for Instagram posts, Instagram stories, YouTube thumbnails, presentations, posters, flyers, logos, and business cards.
- Add, edit, move, resize, rotate, duplicate, and delete text and shapes.
- Upload their own images and add them to the canvas.
- Change background colors and use uploaded images as backgrounds.
- Change fonts, font sizes, weights, alignment, spacing, and text colors.
- Add rectangles, circles, lines, arrows, borders, and simple decorative elements.
- Control opacity and arrange elements forward or backward.
- Select and manage layers.
- Lock and unlock elements.
- Undo and redo changes.
- Zoom in and out and fit the design to the workspace.
- Copy, paste, duplicate, and group elements where practical.
- See changes immediately on the canvas.
- Save a project and reopen it later.
- Export the finished design as a PNG image.
- Support JPG or PDF export where feasible.

The editor should have a central canvas, a left panel for tools and assets, a right properties panel, and a top toolbar. On mobile, reorganize the controls into compact panels that remain usable on touchscreens.

4. AI MAGIC STUDIO

Create a dedicated AI creative workspace containing these tools:

Text-to-Design: Users describe a design, choose a format and style, and receive a generated design or a layout assembled from editable elements.

AI Image Generation: Provide a prompt field, style options, aspect ratios, and a generation button. Integrate an available image-generation service only if its API and access are configured. If it is unavailable, show a clear setup message rather than pretending an image was generated.

Background Remover: Let users upload an image and remove its background through a real supported service, or clearly explain the required API setup.

AI Background Generator: Create backgrounds from user prompts when an appropriate service is configured.

Smart Color Palette: Generate coordinated palettes from descriptions or uploaded reference images when technically supported. Let users save colors and apply them to their designs.

Font Pairing Assistant: Recommend complementary heading and body fonts, with working previews.

AI Design Assistant: Let users describe changes such as “make this more luxurious,” “improve the layout,” or “use a minimal style.” Apply supported changes to editable canvas elements.

Mockup Studio: Help users create product presentation mockups for packaging, clothing, stationery, social media, and branding projects.

Do not expose secret API keys in frontend code. Explain when an external API or paid service is required.

5. TEMPLATE EXPLORER

Create a searchable template library with categories:

- Social media posts and stories.
- YouTube thumbnails and channel graphics.
- Logos and brand identity.
- Business cards and letterheads.
- Posters, flyers, and brochures.
- Invitations and greeting cards.
- Presentations and pitch decks.
- Product packaging and labels.
- Restaurant menus and food promotions.
- Clothing and fashion campaigns.
- Beauty, salon, and skincare promotions.
- E-commerce banners and advertisements.
- Resumes and portfolios.
- Certificates and educational materials.

Each template must have a preview, title, category, and “Customize” button.

Clicking “Customize” should open an editable design in the actual canvas editor. Start with a useful collection of original sample templates. Add search, category filters, and sorting.

6. BRAND KIT AND BRAND BUILDER

Create a brand workspace where users can:

- Save brand names, logos, colors, and fonts.
- Create color palettes.
- Save typography combinations.
- Build a basic visual identity.
- Reuse brand assets in different projects.
- Generate coordinated social media design concepts.
- Preview brand colors and fonts together.

Include example brands so first-time users can explore the feature.

7. CREATIVE DISCOVERY AND INSPIRATION

Create an Explore page where users can discover:

- Modern design trends.
- Color combinations.
- Typography inspiration.
- Minimalist, luxury, editorial, playful, and retro styles.
- Branding case studies.
- Packaging ideas.
- Social media campaign concepts.
- Creative challenges and design prompts.

Add working search and category filters. Make inspiration cards interactive, allowing users to save an idea or start a new design based on it.

Use original sample content and properly licensed imagery. Do not scrape copyrighted designs or present third-party work as original.

8. IMAGE AND ASSET LIBRARY

Build an asset manager where users can:

- Upload images from their devices.
- Preview uploaded assets.
- Search and organize files.
- Reuse uploaded images in projects.
- Remove unwanted assets.
- Access a small collection of original sample shapes, icons, backgrounds, and illustrations.

Handle unsupported file formats and oversized uploads gracefully.

9. PROJECTS AND CLOUD SAVING

Create a Projects page with:

- Recent designs.
- Saved projects.
- Project thumbnails.
- Rename, duplicate, open, and delete actions.
- Search and sorting.
- Empty states for new users.

Persist projects locally for the initial version if cloud storage is not configured. If authentication and a database are available, support secure user accounts and cloud saving. Never pretend that cloud saving works when it has not been implemented.

10. EXPORT AND SHARING

Implement real export functionality:

- Export the current canvas as a PNG.
- Preserve the design's intended dimensions.
- Provide JPG and PDF export if feasible.
- Let users rename projects.
- Offer a way to save and restore editable project data.
- Provide a shareable project link only when actual sharing infrastructure exists.

Every button must perform its stated action or be clearly marked as unavailable.

11. USER EXPERIENCE

Include:

- A welcome screen for first-time users.
- Clear loading, success, and error states.
- Helpful empty states.
- Tooltips for unfamiliar controls.
- Confirmation before deleting a project.
- Responsive layouts for phones, tablets, and computers.
- Accessible labels and keyboard navigation where practical.
- Smooth navigation between the dashboard, editor, templates, AI Studio, Explore, Brand Kit, and Projects.

12. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Build using a suitable modern frontend stack, preferably React and TypeScript, with reusable components and a maintainable project structure.

- Use a suitable canvas library if it helps implement reliable editing.
- Use free, reputable dependencies wherever possible.
- Avoid unnecessary paid APIs.
- Make the application functional in the preview environment.
- Implement real state management and project persistence.
- Validate inputs and handle errors.
- Keep API secrets on the server side.
- Make the core editor work without requiring a paid AI API.
- Never substitute decorative buttons for working features.
- Do not use fake AI results, fake saving, or fake downloads.

13. BUILD IN PHASES WITHOUT STOPPING AT A MOCKUP

First, build a working MVP that includes:

1. Dashboard and navigation.
2. Searchable template gallery with original sample templates.
3. Functional canvas editor.
4. Text, shapes, colors, and image uploads.
5. Undo and redo.
6. Project saving and reopening.
7. PNG export.
8. Responsive mobile and desktop layouts.

Then improve the AI tools, brand kit, Explore page, and advanced editor features.

Start building the actual application immediately. Show me the live interactive preview. Do not respond with another prompt, a plan, or instructions about how I can code it.

Test the main interactions yourself and fix errors you can identify. If a feature needs an external service, explain the limitation and continue implementing the remaining working features.

The result should feel like a real, polished graphic design product that users can explore, create with, save, and export from — not merely a website advertising a future app.
