STRICT MASTER BUILD PROMPT — CODEX

Build a complete, functional, mobile-first interactive learning application named CODEX.

NON-NEGOTIABLE OBJECTIVE

CODEX must deliver a rich, interactive, problem-solving learning experience inspired by Brilliant.org. It must NOT be merely a landing page, chatbot, static course catalog, dashboard mockup, or collection of ordinary multiple-choice quizzes.

The core experience must revolve around learning by doing: interactive visual explanations, guided challenges, hints, immediate feedback, step-by-step reasoning, and progressive difficulty.

Use original branding, original interface design, and original learning content. Do not copy Brilliant's proprietary text, illustrations, branding, or exact interface.

STRICT BUDGET REQUIREMENT

- Total budget: ₹0.
- Do not require a paid subscription, paid API key, paid database, paid hosting service, or paid external service.
- Do not implement features that silently incur charges.
- Do not require a credit card to use CODEX itself.
- Use free and open-source technologies wherever possible.
- Implement core lessons, interactive exercises, progress tracking, and explanations locally.
- Save progress locally on the device without requiring an account.
- Make core lessons available offline wherever technically feasible.
- Never pretend an unavailable AI service is working.
- If a feature cannot be implemented within the free budget, explain the limitation and provide a functional free alternative.

The app builder's own usage limits are outside the app's control. Do not purchase upgrades.

1. LEARNING HOME

Create a polished home screen featuring:

- Continue learning.
- My learning paths.
- Daily challenge.
- Recommended lesson.
- Recent activity.
- Learning progress.
- Search across courses and topics.
- Dark and light themes.
- Responsive navigation for mobile and desktop.

Every visible button must perform its advertised action.

2. STRUCTURED LEARNING PATHS

Implement courses for:

- Mathematics and logical reasoning.
- Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Computer science and computational thinking.
- Programming fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Physics and scientific reasoning.
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning fundamentals.

Organize every course into units, lessons, and progressive levels. Show locked, available, and completed lessons accurately. Unlock the next lesson when the required conditions are met.

3. INTERACTIVE LESSON ENGINE

This is the highest-priority feature.

Build a reusable lesson engine that supports:

- One focused learning activity per screen.
- Short conceptual explanations.
- Interactive diagrams and visual demonstrations.
- Clickable objects and adjustable mathematical values.
- Number puzzles and logical challenges.
- Interactive graphs and coordinate systems.
- Step-by-step problem solving.
- Multiple answer types, including choices, numerical answers, and ordering.
- Hints that gradually reveal useful information.
- Immediate correct or incorrect feedback.
- Explanations for wrong answers.
- Retry functionality.
- Smooth transitions between activities.
- A clear next-step action.

Learners must actively manipulate, predict, calculate, experiment, and solve problems rather than merely read paragraphs.

4. VISUAL MATHEMATICS

Implement working interactive activities for:

- Number lines and fractions.
- Algebraic equations.
- Graphs and functions.
- Geometry and angles.
- Probability experiments.
- Patterns and sequences.
- Logic grids and deduction puzzles.

Changing an input must visibly update the relevant diagram or result. Do not substitute static screenshots for interactive components.

5. CODING LAB

Create an interactive programming learning section featuring:

- Beginner-friendly programming lessons.
- Variables, conditions, loops, functions, arrays, searching, and sorting.
- Java and Python examples.
- Coding challenges with test cases.
- Debugging exercises.
- Hints and explanations.
- A code editor where technically feasible.

Do not simulate successful code execution. If a secure execution environment is unavailable, provide functional code-tracing and debugging activities instead of falsely claiming that arbitrary code runs.

6. GUIDED AI LEARNING WITHOUT PAID APIS

Core learning must never depend on a paid AI service.

Create a built-in explanation system using original lesson content, worked examples, predefined hints, and rule-based responses. Let users select a topic, view simpler explanations, and reveal solutions progressively.

Structure the application so a genuinely free AI service can be integrated later, but do not require an API key, invent AI responses, or promise unlimited AI access.

7. PROGRESS AND PERSONALIZATION

Implement working local progress tracking for:

- Completed lessons.
- Challenge accuracy.
- Attempts and hints used.
- Current course and lesson.
- Achievements.
- Daily practice.
- Weak topics and recommended revision.

Progress must persist after refreshing or reopening the app. Provide a reset-progress option with confirmation.

8. DESIGN QUALITY

Create an original, premium-quality educational design with:

- Clean typography and clear visual hierarchy.
- Carefully spaced layouts.
- Beautiful mathematical diagrams.
- Interactive cards and progress indicators.
- Accessible colors and readable text.
- Smooth but restrained animations.
- Responsive touch controls.
- No clutter, broken layouts, or unnecessary decoration.

The interface must feel like a real learning product, not an AI-generated template.

9. REQUIRED WORKING CONTENT

Before declaring the first version complete, implement at least:

- 10 complete, original lessons.
- 5 or more interactive mathematics challenges.
- 5 or more logic and pattern challenges.
- 5 or more coding exercises.
- Hints and explanations for every included challenge.
- Functional navigation and course progression.
- Persistent local progress.
- A working lesson completion and resume system.

Every listed lesson must contain actual instructional content and working activities. No placeholder text, empty course pages, fake progress, or nonfunctional buttons.

10. TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION

Inspect the available environment and choose the simplest maintainable architecture supported by the builder.

Prefer:

- TypeScript and React where supported.
- Reusable interactive lesson components.
- Local storage or IndexedDB for persistence.
- Local assets and original educational content.
- A lightweight progressive web app architecture where feasible.

Avoid unnecessary dependencies, paid backend requirements, and complicated infrastructure.

11. BUILD AND TEST REQUIREMENTS

Build the actual application, not just a proposal or implementation plan.

First implement the learning engine and a small, complete set of lessons. Then expand the content to meet the required minimums.

Verify that:

- The application starts without errors.
- Every navigation link works.
- Every challenge accepts and evaluates answers correctly.
- Hints and explanations appear when requested.
- Lessons can be completed and resumed.
- Progress survives a page refresh.
- The layout works on mobile screens.
- Core lessons work without an API key.
- No payment or external account is required to access core learning activities.

Fix errors discovered during testing before declaring completion.

FINAL ACCEPTANCE CRITERION

CODEX is complete only when a learner can open the app, select a course, complete a genuinely interactive lesson, receive feedback and hints, understand the solution, unlock the next lesson, and return later without losing progress.

Prioritize real functionality over visual mockups. Never claim an unimplemented feature is complete.
