Woodley X — Complete App Description
1. General idea
App name: Woodley X
App category: Social media, short videos, gaming, and livestreaming.
Main purpose: Connect people through videos, gaming, live broadcasts, and online communities.
Woodley X will be an original app inspired by the short-video experience of TikTok, with a special focus on gaming livestreams. Users will be able to discover videos, follow creators, interact with other users, and share their gaming experiences.
The goal is to give Woodley X its own identity rather than simply copy another platform.
2. Home page
When users open Woodley X, they should see a modern, easy-to-use interface with these main sections:
- Home: Discover videos and creators.
- Explore: Search for videos, people, and games.
- Create: Upload or create short videos.
- Gaming LIVE: Discover gaming livestreams.
- Inbox: View messages and notifications.
- Profile: Manage personal information and uploaded content.
The interface should work well on phones and computers, including a Chromebook.
3. Short-video features
Users should be able to:
- Record and upload videos.
- Scroll through a video feed.
- Like and comment on videos.
- Share videos with friends.
- Follow their favourite creators.
- Save videos to watch later.
- Add captions, music, and supported editing effects.
- Discover popular content and hashtags.
Each video should display the creator's username and provide convenient ways to interact with the content.
4. User accounts and profiles
Every user should have a personal account.
Users should be able to:
- Register and log in.
- Choose a username and profile picture.
- Write a biography.
- Follow other users and gain followers.
- View their own uploaded videos.
- Edit their profiles.
- Manage their privacy settings.
Accounts should have secure authentication and appropriate protection for personal information.
5. Gaming LIVE — The special feature of Woodley X
Gaming LIVE is the feature that will help distinguish Woodley X from an ordinary short-video app.
Users should be able to open the Gaming LIVE section, choose a game, and start or watch a livestream.
The planned experience includes:
1. Open Woodley X.
2. Select Gaming LIVE.
3. Choose a game.
4. Start the selected game on the device.
5. Start a supported livestream of the gameplay.
6. Allow viewers to watch the broadcast.
7. Interact with viewers through live chat.
8. End the livestream when finished.
Users should also be able to browse ongoing streams, discover gaming creators, and follow their favourite streamers.
Actual gameplay streaming will require appropriate screen-capture permissions and streaming technology. The precise implementation depends on the device and operating system.
6. Games featured in Woodley X Gaming
The initial gaming directory will feature these games:
Game	Planned feature
Dream League Soccer 2026 (DLS 26)	Watch and livestream gameplay
EA SPORTS FC Mobile	Watch and livestream gameplay
eFootball 2026	Watch and livestream gameplay
Free Fire	Watch and livestream gameplay
Subway Surfers	Watch and livestream gameplay
Delta Force	Watch and livestream gameplay

These games are intended to be accessed on the user's device, with Woodley X providing the gaming community and livestreaming experience.
Important: Listing a game in Woodley X does not automatically make its gameplay available inside the app. Users may need to open the game separately. Direct integration and multiplayer functionality depend on the game's capabilities and permissions.
7. Friends and multiplayer community
Woodley X should help gamers connect with one another.
Possible features include:
- Follow friends and gaming creators.
- Send private messages.
- Share livestream links.
- Invite friends to watch a broadcast.
- Chat during supported livestreams.
- Create a list of favourite gaming creators.
- Receive alerts when followed creators go live.
For multiplayer games, users can coordinate with friends, but actual multiplayer sessions must run through the supported game itself unless a developer provides a way to integrate them.
8. Live chat and viewer interaction
During a livestream, viewers should be able to:
- Send messages.
- React to the stream.
- Ask the streamer questions.
- Follow the streamer.
- Share the livestream with friends.
Streamers should be able to moderate their chats, remove inappropriate messages, and block users when necessary.
9. Notifications
Woodley X should provide notifications for important activities, such as:
- New followers.
- Likes and comments.
- New messages.
- Replies to comments.
- Livestreams from followed creators.
- Relevant updates about followed accounts.
Users should have control over which notifications they receive.
10. Search and discovery
Users should be able to search for:
- People and usernames.
- Videos and hashtags.
- Gaming livestreams.
- Gaming creators.
- Games in the gaming directory.
The Explore section should help people find interesting videos and livestreams.
11. Privacy and safety
Because Woodley X will be a social platform, safety must be part of the design.
The app should include:
- Account privacy settings.
- Blocking and reporting tools.
- Comment controls.
- Livestream chat moderation.
- Secure login.
- Protection of personal information.
- Community guidelines.
- Procedures for handling inappropriate content.
If younger users are allowed to join, age-appropriate safeguards will also be necessary.
12. Design and appearance
Woodley X should have its own recognizable design.
The interface should be:
- Modern and easy to navigate.
- Suitable for mobile screens and computers.
- Responsive and accessible.
- Designed around video and gaming content.
- Available with a dark mode.
- Prepared for additional languages in the future.
The app should use the name Woodley X consistently, including on the welcome screen, navigation, and profile pages.
13. How Woodley X could earn money
Once the app has a real user base, possible revenue sources include:
- Advertising.
- Optional premium subscriptions.
- Creator partnerships.
- Sponsorships.
- Additional features for eligible paying users.
These are future possibilities, not guaranteed earnings. Any paid features must be implemented securely and comply with applicable platform rules.
14. How we will build it
Since you're using a Chromebook, we can start with a browser-based development tool such as Lovable.
We'll build the project in stages:
Stage 1 — Design: Create the Woodley X interface, navigation, home feed, and gaming directory.
Stage 2 — Prototype: Make the main screens work and test the user experience.
Stage 3 — Accounts and database: Add authentication, profiles, video records, and other necessary backend features.
Stage 4 — Video functionality: Implement uploading, storage, and playback.
Stage 5 — Gaming LIVE: Investigate and implement the appropriate screen-capture and livestreaming solution.
Stage 6 — Testing: Test the app on your Chromebook and compatible phones.
Stage 7 — Publishing: Prepare the app for release, including the relevant security checks, privacy information, and platform requirements.
A complete social platform with reliable livestreaming is a substantial project, so we'll build and test it in manageable steps rather than assume every feature will work automatically.
15. The main development prompt for Woodley X
You can use the following description as the starting prompt when creating your project in Lovable:
Build an original, responsive social video and gaming livestreaming web application called Woodley X.
Woodley X combines a short-video social platform with a dedicated Gaming LIVE community. Users should be able to create accounts, manage profiles, upload and browse short videos, like and comment on content, follow creators, send messages, search for videos and people, and receive notifications.
Create a dedicated Gaming LIVE section featuring Dream League Soccer 2026, EA SPORTS FC Mobile, eFootball 2026, Free Fire, Subway Surfers, and Delta Force. Users should be able to browse gaming streams, view streamer profiles, discover live broadcasts, and interact through a live chat interface.
Design the app with a modern, responsive interface that works on phones, tablets, and computers. Include a home feed, Explore page, video creation page, Gaming LIVE directory, inbox, profile pages, and privacy settings. Give Woodley X its own visual identity and support dark mode.
Start by building a functional front-end prototype with clear navigation and realistic sample content. Do not pretend that sample videos are real livestreams. Structure the project so that secure authentication, a database, video storage, and actual livestreaming infrastructure can be added. Clearly identify features that require backend services, device permissions, or external integrations.
Make the interface easy for a beginner to understand and test. Prioritize the core experience before adding advanced features.
