Setting Up Your Domain

Step 1: Add Domain

Go to your app settings → Custom Domain → Add your domain

Step 2: Configure DNS

Add the records we provide to your DNS:

• CNAME record pointing to our servers
• Or A record for apex domains

Step 3: Verify

We automatically verify and provision SSL. Usually takes under 5 minutes.

Step 4: Go Live

Your app is now accessible at your custom domain with HTTPS.

DNS Provider Guides

We support all DNS providers. The process is similar:

Cloudflare:

1. Add CNAME record
2. Set proxy status to "DNS only" initially
3. After verification, enable proxy if desired

GoDaddy:

1. Go to DNS Management
2. Add CNAME record with our target
3. Save and wait for propagation

Namecheap:

1. Advanced DNS settings
2. Add new CNAME record
3. Save changes

Multiple Domains

Pro users can connect multiple domains to different apps:

• portfolio.yourname.com → your portfolio app
• calculator.yourbusiness.com → your tool
• landing.startup.com → your launch page

Each app can have its own custom domain.

Keep Your Subdomain Too

Custom domains don't replace your subdomain. Both work:

• yourapp.genmb.com (always works)
• yourdomain.com (your custom domain)

Great for testing or as a backup.
