Open the host page

Go to the Host page, or drag your file straight onto the GenMB home page. Either way starts the same flow.

Drag and drop a single HTML file, a folder of files, or a ZIP. You can also click to pick files from your computer.

Get your live link

GenMB hosts your site and opens it in the editor. From there you can share the link, refine it with AI, or publish it to a custom address.
If you have a single self-contained HTML file (everything in one file), that is the simplest case - just drop it in. For a site split across several files, upload the whole folder or ZIP so the pieces stay together.

You do not need to rewrite any paths. References that point to files inside your site keep working exactly as they did on your computer.

Images

A tag like <img src="images/logo.png"> finds your logo in the images folder you uploaded.

Styles and scripts

Your CSS and JavaScript files load from the same relative paths they already use.

Fonts and media

Fonts, PDFs, and other files you include in your upload are served alongside your pages.

Upload the same folder structure you have locally. GenMB keeps the layout intact so nothing breaks.

Multi-Page Sites

A site can be more than one page. Upload a folder or ZIP with several HTML files and they all stay linked together.

  • Your home page loads first when someone opens the link.
  • Links between pages, such as a link to about.html, keep working.
  • Sub-folders are kept, so pages organized into folders still resolve.
  • Add or remove pages by re-uploading the updated site.
Name your main page index.html so GenMB knows which page to show first. If there is only one HTML file, it is used as the home page automatically.

Replace Your Site

Made changes on your computer and want to push the new version live? Use Replace site to swap the whole thing in one step.

Open Replace site

In the editor, choose Replace site from the menu.

Upload the new version

Drop in the updated file, folder, or ZIP. It replaces everything from the previous upload.

The live link updates

Your existing link stays the same and now serves the new version. Earlier versions are kept in history so you can roll back.

Edit It With AI

A hosted site is a normal GenMB app, so everything the editor offers works on it. The fastest way to change something is to just describe what you want.

  • Ask in chat, for example "change the headline to Summer Sale" or "make the buttons blue."
  • Click any element in the live preview to edit its text and styling by hand.
  • Every edit is saved as a new version you can compare and roll back.
  • Publish to a GenMB subdomain for free, or connect a custom domain on Pro.
