Invite friends to GenMB and earn 50 credits each time someone signs up through your link. Your friend also gets 50 credits on their first account.

How It Works

Every GenMB account comes with a unique 8-character referral code and a ready-to-share link. When a new user signs up via your link, both accounts are credited automatically.

Copy your referral link

Find it in Settings under the Referrals card. The link looks like genmb.com/?ref=YOURCODE.

Post it on X, drop it in an email, or send a DM. Built-in share buttons make this one click.

When they land on GenMB with your link, the referral is captured as a first-touch attribution — even if they browse around before creating an account.

Both accounts get 50 credits

The moment their account is created, 50 credits are added to both balances. No form, no approval step, no delay.

The Referrals card in Settings includes one-click share buttons for X and email. You can also copy the link and paste it anywhere — Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, blog posts, newsletters.

The referral tracker works even if the visitor clicks around the site, reads the docs, or leaves and comes back before signing up. First-touch attribution is stored in a cookie for 90 days.

Referral credits are treated exactly like plan credits. They follow your plan's rollover rules, can be used on any billable action, and show up in your credits balance. See the Credits doc for a full cost breakdown per action.

Referral credits are not top-up credits. They do not persist beyond your plan's rollover window. If you want non-expiring credits, purchase a top-up pack.

Safeguards

To keep the program fair, a few automatic checks are enforced:

Each new account can only trigger the bonus once — re-signing in does not pay out again.
Self-referral is blocked if the referrer and the new account share the same email or user ID.
Unknown or malformed codes are silently ignored; no bonus is granted.
The bonus is idempotent — if anything retries, credits are not double-counted.

How many credits do I get per referral?▾

You and your friend each receive 50 credits the first time they sign up through your link. Credits are added to your monthly balance and follow the same rollover rules as plan credits.

Is there a limit on how many friends I can refer?▾

There is no cap. You can keep sharing your link and earn 50 credits for every new account that signs up with it. Only the first signup per person counts — re-signing in does not re-trigger the bonus.

When are the credits added to my account?▾

Credits are granted automatically the moment your friend creates their GenMB account through your link. Both accounts are credited in the same transaction.

Can I refer myself with a second email?▾

No. Self-referrals are blocked. If the referrer and the new account share the same email or user ID, the bonus is not granted.

Does my friend need to upgrade for us to earn credits?▾

No. The bonus is granted on signup. Your friend does not need to subscribe to Pro or Business — a free account is enough.

Where do I find my referral link?▾

Open Settings and scroll to the Referrals card. You will see your unique link, your signup count, and the total credits you have earned.
