Link format

Add parameters to the GenMB homepage. Encode each value, and repeat a key to pass more than one image or page.

Parameter	What it does
prompt (or query)	The text to fill in. Optional when the link has images or pages. Up to 10,000 characters; a longer prompt still fills in and the visitor trims it.
images	A public https image (PNG, JPEG or WebP). Repeat the key for more than one. Up to 9.5MB for all images together. SVG and GIF are skipped.
html	A public https page. GenMB reads its text and uses it as a reference for content and structure. Repeat the key for more than one.
utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign	Where the visit came from. The generator sets utm_source=build_with_url.
ref	Your referral code, so signups from the link count for you.

Links never build on their own

A link fills in the composer and stops there. The visitor reads the prompt, can remove any reference, and clicks Build. Only that build uses credits.

Signed-out visitors

Someone without an account sees the prompt and the list of references at once. Nothing is fetched until they sign in. After sign-up GenMB loads the images and pages and starts the build they asked for. A reference that cannot be loaded is skipped and the build goes ahead with the rest.

Existing apps

To prefill the chat of an app you already have, add ?prompt= to its editor link. The message waits in the chat box until you send it.

FAQs

Does a link build an app or spend credits on its own?▾

No. A link only fills in the prompt and the references. Nothing builds until the visitor clicks Build, and only that build uses credits. The autosubmit parameter is accepted and ignored.

Do I need an account to make a link?▾

No. The link generator on this page works without signing in and uploads nothing. If you are signed in, your referral code is added to the link.

What happens when someone without an account opens my link?▾

They see the prompt and the list of references right away. When they click Build they sign up, and the build then runs with the same prompt and references.

Can I use a link made for Lovable?▾

Yes. GenMB reads the same prompt, images and html keys after # as well as in the query string, so you only change the domain to genmb.com.
